On March 28, 2024, Atlanta Partners Carrie Christie and Courtney Norton and Atlanta Associate Chastity Marshall won a motion to dismiss in the State Court of Toombs County, Georgia based upon the plaintiff’s failure to comply with a court order to execute a verification of her interrogatory responses. In order to position the case for dismissal, Carrie Christie and her defense team documented the plaintiff’s repeated failures to comply with discovery and filed a motion to compel. The defied order to compel was the impetus for the defense team’s ensuing motion to dismiss.
