On October 10, 2024, Partner David Rutherford and New York Associate Cassidy Brillhart settled a wrongful death case asserted against a non-profit organization in Westchester County, providing essential educational services, direct services, vocational training, recreation, rehabilitation and advocacy to children and adults with all developmental disabilities including autism, neurological impairments, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. The case settled right before the jury was dismissed for deliberations, for the amount that was offered to the plaintiff before the trial began.
