Biography

Michael C. Becker is a partner at Rutherford & Christie LLP.  He is a civil litigator with a broad range of experience practicing in state and federal Courts throughout New York and New Jersey.  He has amassed a successful record of verdicts and settlements over his career for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Mike’s practice is primarily focused in general tort litigation where he represents clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving employer liability, premises liability, products liability, construction accidents, toxic torts and motor vehicle accidents.

In addition to prosecuting and defending personal injury and wrongful death cases, Mike also litigates professional malpractice, commercial/corporate matters, property damage claims and estate disputes.  Mike has also proven to be very effective representing clients on a range of other matters including allegations of fraud, corporate misconduct, contract disputes and commercial transactions.

Mike received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz.
