Biography
Max A. Peterson is an Attorney in Rutherford & Christie’s Atlanta office.
Max graduated cum laude from Kennesaw State University, earning a Bachelor of the Arts in History. Following graduation, he attended Georgia State University’s College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. As a law student, Max was a member of the Moot Court team at GSU, serving on the team’s Executive Board as a Vice President of Appellate Advocacy, and earned a best brief award at the Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. Max is a Mark & Evelyn Trammell Foundation Fellow in the Phillip C. Cook Low Income Tax Clinic, and was awarded the Atlanta Bar Foundation’s Dean R. Morely Tax Clinic Award for his service in the Clinic.
Max’s practice focuses on litigation, including auto and trucking liability defense and premises liability and security claims.
