On January 13, 2026 the New York Office obtained summary judgment in a catastrophic aviation crash in the Hudson Valley wherein a Cessna 303 twin-engine aircraft lost power after take-off and crashed into a house located a mile from the runway, killing the pilot, the father who was watching a movie in the living room of his house with his daughter and causing his twenty-one year old daughter to be burned over ninety percent of her body.  Our client performed maintenance on the aircraft on two prior occasions. Partners David Rutherford and Michael Becker, as well as New York Associates Cassidy Brillhart and Michael Stuart contributed to the win.  The case was litigated over the course of number of years and involved thirty-two experts.
