Biography

Jaime A. Steinhaus is an Associate in Rutherford & Christie’s Atlanta Office. She practices complex civil defense litigation, in both state and federal courts. She focuses her practice on product liability, premises liability and security, wrongful death, indemnity, automobile and trucking liability, breach of contract, third-party liability, and coverage disputes.

Jaime earned her J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, she interned as a Judicial Clerk for the Fulton County Superior Court and as a Third Year Law Student Prosecuting Attorney with the Hall County Solicitor General’s Office. Jaime began her legal career as an associate for a boutique criminal defense firm handling both misdemeanor and felony defense before transitioning into civil litigation.

Jaime is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice law in State and Superior Courts across Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
