Emily Y. Wang is a Senior Associate with Rutherford & Christie in Atlanta, Georgia. She practices civil defense litigation, in both state and federal courts, including pro hac vice appearances across the country, focusing on premises liability, trucking, catastrophic claims, dram shop liability, employment, construction liability, wrongful death, products liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation.
Emily earned her B.S., cum laude, at Emory University in Neuroscience Behavioral Biology and English in 2012. She received her J.D., and Health Law Certificate, from Georgia State University Law School in 2015. After graduating in the top third of her law school class, Emily began her legal career with Rutherford & Christie and has practiced here ever since.
Emily’s practice includes defending individuals, restaurants and quick-service restaurants, department stores and retailers, general and subcontractors, janitorial service providers, corporations, and insurance companies against varying claims, from the investigation phase through discovery and trial.
