
Brooke Bowen
Biography
Brooke Bowen is a partner with Rutherford & Christie who specializes in high-stakes civil litigation, including catastrophic injury claims, large products liability cases, and complex commercial litigation.
Brooke started her career in Rutherford & Christie’s New York City office where she gained invaluable litigation experience. Throughout her career, Brooke has defended major national and international companies in Georgia, New York, and across the United States.
Brooke has individually conducted and defended hundreds of depositions. She has successfully argued dozens of complex dispositive motions, obtaining multiple favorable rulings from the bench, and she won a defense verdict in her first jury trial, in Brooklyn, New York, a well-known plaintiff’s venue. Brooke acted as monitoring and trial strategy counsel on major national products liability claims and defended a case up to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Brooke also spent five years of her career serving as in-house counsel for a major government organization in Georgia. During that time, Brooke focused on preventing litigation and minimizing risks to her client. She also led litigation strategy with the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and routinely testified before the Georgia General Assembly on legal matters and proposed legislation.
Brooke uses the skills that she developed both in the courtroom and in the boardroom to get the best results for her client by the most practical means possible.
